this is gonna be quite a long post.. so i will update it slowly.. and so.. continue right after the games.. woke up at bout 5 in the morning cuz the rest of our road trip frens are gonna leave at 6am? cant really remember the time but i know its gonna be early.. and so our(jace, eugene and me.. cuz only the 3 of us join the games and met up in cc) journey begins... and so.. you should guess.. all of us were sleeping all the way to dunedin/otago.. haha..
Dunedin/Otago
its actually.. the same place.. one is the region name and one is the town.. i think? lol... well we split up here... some of us went to the cadbury factory, some went to see albatross.. some bird species.. and some to the beer factory.. and guess which one did i go... i decided to stay in the car and sleep.. haha.. jk.. went for the cadbury one.. cuz its cheaper.. needa save money.. so.. what have i learn in the factory? of course.. how cadbury choc are made.. and also some history about cadbury.. got some free chocs during the tour as well.. but most probably cuz we paid for it... well.. pretty interesting... and fattening... since i get free choc.. i started eating chocs.. which i never really like cuz its too sweet... for me.. after the tour.. we went walking around the town area and went visiting the university of otago which was right in the middle of the town area.. its really big.. compared to massey... and there's so much to do in town.. with all the shops and malls.. which you never find in palmy... man.. which i studied there.. but one thing is.. its really cold there.. but the weather that day was quite good.. compared with a week before.. roads were close cuz it was snowing and icy.. we are really lucky...
and then after that we head off to Balcutha... and stayed over at a frens place.. and there was 15 of us all together.. and girls were the lucky ones.. we get the rooms and guys? living room.. and floor.. haha.. sorry for that... vinay.. our fren... cooked indian curry for us.. wow.. it was really nice.. although i expect it to be spicy? haha... yup thanks for the great day

its scott's farm!! stayed over there for 3 nights... really an awesome place... its a farm house.. a house that you will never imagine own by farmers... really nice.. even nicer than my house back home!! really! the toilet has jacuzzi, and the kitchen is like a bar.... so nice!! ok thats the farm house.. the place.. invercargill... the southland southest town... that means i've been to the southest part of new zealand!! woohoo... haha... basically nothing much there.. we were driving around to milford sound and then went back to the farm house to stay... cuz we dont need to pay .. haha.. thats how we save our cost for the trip... milford sound was the 3rd day.. 2nd day.. we went bush walking.. haha.. really bush walking.. we followed the tracks uphill... went through a small glow worm cave.. and then on the way back... we just decided to go accross the bush... no trail, no routes.. nothing! man.. its so fun!! haha... this is what i love the most.. adventure!! the funny part was.. everyone were slipping and falling from the walk... ended up with dirty pants and clothes...

Bersatu Games
this trip was the best trip ever.. will never forget this memorable road trip.. but before the trip was the bersatu games.. which we lost terribly.. in style.. lol...
Christchurch
1st day
nothing much done today.. reach cc and it was raining.. we check in into some backpacker in town and then went walking around town looking for food and also a sport shop to fix eugene's racket.. which the string broke for the second time in a week.. he just fixed it and then it broke a day before the games... so lucky.. haha.. then at night we met up with jonathan and was playing monopoly till bout 1am... haha.. and yes!! i won!! lol..
2nd day
check out of the backpacker and check in to another one just at the back cuz this was the one we are gonna be staying for the next 5 nights... then met up with the other msians and did some registration work before the games tmr.. after that.. went to the market which was quite far away... 20 mins walk.. then was just walking around and around.. and then met nigel... and cedric.. went to the beach after that.. was really nice.. and the weather was great....and after that went for the opening ceremony for the games... went there by the bus provided.. and only jace, eugene and me took the bus.. the others are too rich, they hired like 4 cars.. so they drove.. =S too much... the ceremony was quite boring... cant even hear what they were saying... its like they are talking to themselves...
3rd day
netball/basketball day
for the 1st time.. i m playing netball in a competition.. which.. of course.. we lost terribly.. like mumsa 4- 20 cantebury... something like that.. but yes.. our max score was only 4.. thats so sad.. but any how.. i gave my best in defending the team... and i got push and also my leg crampped... =S and i still have badminton the next day.. which that was my only hope to win something...
4th day
badminton/squash/soccer
yes! the day that i was waiting for.. but you know what.. my leg still hurts.. cant even strech properly.. pain!!! how m i gonna run while playing.. and yes.. i m playing 1st =S and of course.. i lost.. so sad =( 2nd game was so close.. i lost the 1st set but then i nearly won the 2nd set.. and so i lost by 2 points.. 20-22 to canterbury.. 1st games was with petunia (petronas uni in auckland) something like that... won my 3rd one against wuma( waikato uni msian association) and 4th against otago... i was so close to going into semi final.. lost 1 point to canterbury.. NO!!!! btw.. that was my single game... womens double?? lost every game... i m so sorry.. but i definitly need to blame my partner... i know she's not a good badminton player.. and because she's not good.. every one is attacking her.. and i cant do anything.. thats why we lost... nvm.. i still have next year.. which is gonna be held in wellington.. this time gonna get wen li to be my partner.. and we will surely win cuz we make a good combination... haha.. then the guys and mix doubles were played by iylia, eugene and jace.. i wanted to play mix doubles cuz definitly i m better than jace... but eugene wanted jace to play =S if i played we will definitly make it into semi finals... he's such an.... what ever.. well.. conclusion is... lost !

volleyball/ touch rugby/ bowling
well we only played volleyball cuz our main player in touch rugby was injured during the soccer match yst.. so we forfeited touch and played volleyball instead cuz we were much better in that... won the 1st round.. but lost to the rest.. but it was really a fun game.. all of us enjoyed it and they said our team was much better compared to last year... =)
6th day
atlethics/ finals for all other games
today is the last day for the games... and yes.. i ran for this event as well.. cuz one of our girl runner didnt wanna run.. so i ended up running for her.. 4x400m... this is crazy.. i ran 2nd.. and of course it was a team event.. i will never run 4x400 by myself.. you will see me last and in the hospital... cuz even runing 1x400m... i was coughing non stop and was gasping for air... man that was the one and only time i m gonna run... this is the craziest thing that i will do anymore... thank godness its over!!! had closing ceremony in some hotel and paid $40 for that.. i felt ripped off.. the food was horrible.. desert was ok.. and i aspect to have nice msian food.. instead of western since is a msian thing... but overall the closing ceremony was ok.. with all the performances by all the contigents.. and of course.. we had our magician to perform! haha.. it was really great.. and funny.. haha.. good job on that john...
well thats pretty much about the games in christchurch... met new frens .. especially from waikato.. and i get to meet christine who was actually went to cc for holiday...its so good to get to meet frens from my own hometown and my schoolmate... and really good experience entering competition for the 1st time... will improve and win some medals next year!!
