1 more month to go

Yes.. It's one more month till my big day. What should I do on that day? My only wish is that I can go back home and celebrate with my family and close friends. I miss home so much! Hope that it will come true but then don't think it will. Well, August is a very busy month for me this year with lots and lots of assignments and tests. Good luck to me.
Cheers

BersatuGames/ Rotorua-Taupo

Sadly to tell, I did not get a medal for badminton but that doesn't mean that I lost my games. I won 2 matches and lost 1. This is because it is a team event, so it depends on the team as well. So in the end we did not get any medals for badminton, or any other sports that I was playing but I played and gave my best afford during the games. Maybe it's just the luck. We were so close to get into semi finals for most of the sports, just lost my 1 or 2 points. But the good news is, we got a gold medal!! It's for takraw. The boys or actually the uncles who played really played like a professional player. They were so clam during the match. Congrats to them.
After Bersatu was the trip to Rotorua and Taupo. First day in Rotorua was basically just roaming around town and I get to eat Nando's! Was craving for that since I was in Wellington but didn't have that chance to go. The second day was the most memorable day in my life! In the morning we went for Zorb. It's basically that 3 or less people go into a ball and then roll or run down the hill (sounds like being a hamster running in a ball??). Hahaha.... The next activity was The Luge! It was actually just a normal thing to play as I played this before when I was in the South Island last year but the memorable thing that happen was, it was snowing on that day. It hasn't been snowing in Rotorua for the past 25 years and it was snowing when we were luge'ing there! So we basically luged under the snow and got ourselves wet and it was so cold but everything was worth it. This is the first time I actually see snow, as in snowing, not snow you get on the ground and throw at people. All of us were so happy. At night they went to the spa and after that we had bbq. The next morning, Jason, Matthew and me went for Off Road. We were all driving a 4WD car off road. We went through streams, mountain, waterfall, and also luge. This is something you can't do with your own car. It's quite expensive but it is quite worth it if you do it once, not more than that.
In the afternoon, we headed to Taupo. Didn't do much there as well as we arrived quite late, at about 6pm and it's all dark already. Next day, we all went for the Hukafalls Jet. This is also once of the activities that you guys should try if you come to NZ. Basically, the 'driver' of the jet will spin the jet 360ยบ on the stream and goes really fast. And you will also get to go near the Hukafalls which is one of the tourist attractions in Taupo. And... of course you will end up wet if you didn't wear your raincoat.
That's pretty much it for this year's winter break. Semester starts this Monday and sad to tell, I will be dropping my Animal Science major and stay with Zoology. I've been failing all my animal science papers and I can't afford to do that anymore, so I made my decision. Hope that I won't fail anymore and please STUDY Amy!!!
Cheers!
