Summer Holiday

It's been slightly more than two weeks now since my last exam. Much have happened since the last post. Exams, exams and more exams. This year have been really hard for me but I am still holding on. Lets not talk about studies. It's summer man! I finally started instructing Body Combat and today was my second class. Last week's class was pretty good in numbers but I was still nervous and today was slightly better but less in numbers.
Went to Auckland last week on a last minute plan which worked out really good. Sometimes this type of spontaneous plans are so much better than plans that doesn't work out after long planning. Drove all night from 12am from Palmy and reach Auckland around 7ish am. Went shopping straight away then check in into backpackers. Parking is so expensive in Auckland so its wise not to drive there next time. Been driving around Auckland for the first time and feels like M'sia, with all the traffic jams and double lanes cause you wont get it elsewhere in NZ. Visited Kelly Tarlton's and Auckland Zoo with two of Hana's Japanese friends that came for a trip. We were like chickens and ducks trying to communicate cause their English wasn't good and of course I couldn't understand Japanese but what ever happens, just yelled HANA-chan! The trip was awesome with spending lots of money but still all good.
The next weekend went to Wellington for the last workshop of the year. This release is awesome! Can't wait to teach it. Loves the songs and the new moves. The next relauch will be awesome cause I can say I am improving as an instructor.
That's pretty much what have happened in the past two weeks after exam. Oh yeah, I move in into my friends place in town, so you might not see me online 24/7 anymore. And it's one more month till Christmas and till home! Really misses home, my family, relatives, friends, food, everything. Realise I haven been in much contact with my friends back home and hopefully we could catch up once I am back. =)

It's That Time Again!

Well, if you don't know what time is that, its exam time! Yes. I am afraid. I have lost my confidence after what had happened last semester. It's been a really bad year for me, especially last semester. This semester was pretty good so far but there's so much in my mind. I have not been doing well at all in my studies. It seems to get worst year by year. I remembered when I first came to NZ, I was pretty hardworking, studying at least few times a week and it went to once a week, and now, I can't be bothered. What have happened to me? What is God doing with me? What does He wants from me? Since I have decided to trust Him, I've tried to do everything I could to glorify Him. It's not easy and I know that. Never said it was at all and I am still struggling to. The used to be self-centered me is trying to be God-centered. I do my best to think about others before me although I do admit sometimes I still do not do what God wants me to do. I do not expect anything from them but I am waiting the promises from God.
I am still waiting and will wait till whenever He wants to fulfil those promises in me. I pray that He will continue to work in me and also the rest of the other OCFers. As exams are in a weeks' time, I will do my best to study and let the rest of the job for God. Whatever decision He makes for me, I will accept.
Please pray for me my fellow friends that are reading this. Thank you.

1 year old birthday

Yes!! I am 1 year old today! It's been a long but fast year with a lot of ups and downs, happiness and difficulties, positive and negative year. Throughout this whole 1 year, I've learn a lot, a lot about God. Thinking back 3 years, when I first came to NZ, I was alone. I know nothing about this foreign place except its full with greens, cows and sheep. I started to make friends or tried to make friends with Kiwi's, Americans and other ethnic groups in the halls, hang out with them and just follow what they do without know what was the purpose of doing it. I still remember the first time I got drunk, went clubbing and the ridiculous things I've done that year. I feel disgraceful thinking about it now.
I think it all started when I was first introduced to OCF. Met a lot new friends there that year and felt the warmth and homeliness feeling there, without knowing anything about God. There was something that kept me attending every Friday meetings. It was interesting knowing God for the first time, even when my grandfather was a Christian, he never thought me anything about Jesus or God. It was something hard to believe, so I never did but I still kept going, for a whole good two years.
It was that one night that I attended a talk/discussion held by a church that made me make that decision. I still remember that moment, that night when I said the prayer and accepted Lord Jesus as my saviour. It's just unforgettable and I could not really describe how I feel.
A few months after that memorable day, I sometimes did ask myself if I did the right choice. It's been quite hard for me to change in some ways as its' been 'me' for the past 21 years of my life. Now it's more about 'You'. The struggles I had this year really did frustrates me a lot. I did not understand why and I doubted, for a while. But thanks to my brothers and sisters, I still and will always have faith, trust and love God. I understand that He will never do anything that will harm me.
So yes, I am really looking forward to the years to come that was planned by Him, and keep growing in Him, learning more and more, worship, praise and thank my wonderful God. Thank You!

I Did It

YES! I finally had the courage to go up stage and took the class. It wasn't perfect, not even near to good but at least I gave it a go. I was out of beat all the time, forgot what to say for the next move and even did a wrong step, but all I did was go on and did not stop. Thanks to all my friends that supported me, and came to my trial class. It was definitely a stone for me to jump higher and I am really glad that I did not give up last minute. Most importantly, God was there and He gave me that courage, confidence, calmness and whatever I needed to be on stage. Thank You!

Kidnapping and other Surprises!

Well, Thanks for the plan for my 22nd birthday! I am getting 'mature'. Lol! This was the best birthday I ever had so far! Really appreciate the effort of making it worked with me trying to spoil it as usual. =) Started with the 'kidnapping' plan but with all the doors locked. So it wouldn't happen if I did not willingly follow them. Was blindfolded in the car and was brought to Pak n Save. Guessed that as the route there is too easy and I thought that's it. We are heading home. But instead they took me somewhere else. The beach! While it was raining. Sang all sorts of songs including Negaraku =S. Since when they became so patriotic, even I never did that. But well, it was definitely a memorable one under the windy, rainy night at the beach. Oh yeah, that was at 12am.
In the afternoon, just went for lunch at a thai restaurant. Went home, slept, and then exercise. Came home after that and got a shock of my life!! Opened the front door with the main lights off and people screaming 'SURPRISE' really gave me a heart attack! Did not expect that at all! Thanks for that my 'friends'!! When you know that I am scared of the dark and you guys 'prank' me like that! hahaha... but we did enjoy the night with silly stuff. And so much for the phrase 'I want you to be spongey, not cheesy'. That cracked me up so much!!! I Love my friends so much!!! and Thank YOU for letting them be in my life! Thanks for all the wishes and gifts!

Snowboarding/ Workshop/ Mid-Sem Break

There goes my 2 weeks holiday, with none of my assignments done and all piling up. Went snowboarding again which was awesome since I am getting hold of my skills. Weather wasn't really good but the condition was still alright to stay at the mountain. Sixteen people and four cars in a tiny house of a friend. 8 people in the room and the rest crammed in the living room. That's a good way to bond =).
Les Mills Workshop on Saturday was awesome! Was my second one with the first one in February when I just got back. Trying hard to make myself to go up stage and take a class for the first time and it will be all good. Relauch at gym will be on the 16th of September. I will make sure I am ready by that time. It's time for me to wake up and do the right things. Have been so lazy this year.
Second week of holiday was planned to start on my overdue assignments but never touched. I really need to stop procrastinating. It's only less than 2 months till finals and I am so behind! I need discipline! and stop being a thief! stop stealing my own time!

Last Minute

Its 5am. My overdue assignment is still ages away till finishing. Its only 500 words since 3am. Seriously, I sucked at writing essays and this is a 3000 words, 16.7% worth. Ideas are all in the head but couldn't put it down in words. This overdue assignment had an extension till 5.30pm. That's 72 hours of work that can be done but all I did was procrastinate. What is wrong with this person. I don't think I know her anymore! Oh, Lord! Where are You?? Find me!

Winter Break

Winter break had come and gone too fast. First thing that was done was heading down to Napier for a friend's surprise birthday party and also having to get out of Palmy. Next up was snowboarding! This will be my second time snowboarding and it was fun as although I keep falling on my arse and also knees with all the bruises the next day that I couldn't sit properly. Overall, I manage to get the skill of not falling at the very last hour before the ski field closes and will definitely have another visit sometime in August.

Basically, the days after that was just sleeping in, going out for food, movies, etc., until Bersatu started at the last week of the break. Well, I have to admit that being in charge for organising a whole sports event wasn't easy, especially when the one in charge will be competing in the tournament as well. There were so many flaws when the day finally came but manage to overcome it in the end. Thanks to my helpful friends and volunteers. That was only the first day, when I woke up at 5.30am. Second day, I was all worned out and still had to play futsal and volleyball. Did not play the third and fourth day but was still out helping people. (as long as I have a walkie to hold, it's so cool to have one =D ) The most hilarious thing was, EVERYONE fell sick after that. YES! All the participants and volunteers were sick! But it wasn't swine flu, just normal cold. It was a really great experience getting to host such an event, especially for the first time and we definitely tried our best to make it the best Bersatu ever. MUMSA got second overall which was really a great achievement comparing to previous years. I've got 4 medals in total. One gold and three silvers!

You might be wondering how my results went for the first semester and I would sadly say it wasn't the most pleasant news and I do not want to talk about it. I was really disappointed, frustrated, hopeless, everything negative you can think of. It really did break my heart into pieces, pieces so small you can't see anymore! But I told myself, I will give another try this semester but if it's still the same then forget it. I am quitting!

Stress

Why do people get stress? Especially during exam period? Just because they are not ready for it? People kept complaining that they do not have enough time to study but they have time to chat till early morning when the sun rise up. After that they go to bed. Shouldn't they go to bed early instead of wasting time chatting and then regretting? They told me that they studied till 2am, so they want to reward themselves by hanging out and chatting. Well, that's most probably a way of reward. For instance, I go the they gym every day for at least an hour, so that's my reward. But a reward comes after you done something such as studying. And for me, gym comes before studying. I've been trying to study at least 3 hours a day the past week, but all I managed was 2 to 2 and half hours. Slow progress just because I will not have exams until the 17th of June when my friends are starting theirs today. I have planned to doubled up my study time this week and hopefully I will be able to finish studying all my study materials before my exam starts.

Dear God,
I pray that you blessed all my friends that will be having their exams, to have the wisdom from you, have the motivation to study your creation. Also, please keep them healthy during this period, let them have enough rest and proper food. Keep their mind focus in studying, away from all the distraction and stress. Also, pray that every one and each of them will continue to have faith in you as they might forget about You during this busy period. Yes Lord. Thank You for everything you have done for us. Thank You in Your Heavenly name Jesus, Amen.

'So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.'

2nd Re-launch

Had a second relaunch yesterday. Had to wear this sleeveless top made for all the instructors. Didn't feel comfortable with it but no choice. Overall the relaunch wasn't that bad. At least combat had about 101 people that attended and beat all other classes. Did one tiny mistake on the stage. As usual, I was thinking about the next move and totally missed out. Luckily it wasn't obvious. I am still nervous about talking on the microphone and I am feeling the pressure from other instructors already cause they kept on asking me when will I take over the class. I was like, "Not ready yet!!". Hope I can have more confidence. I really like combat but I am really not sure if I am capable of conducting the class. God, please help me!

NZ vs Msia

Yesterday, I went to Countdown Supermarket to get some groceries and I found a fairly cheap soft drink and thought that it would be good for me to buy and keep it for events as I am in the middle of crisis too. So it's written on the shelf ' Coca Cola 18 x 355ml can pack for $9.99, Save $5'. Saw that once I got into the supermarket and I do not buy a lot of soft drinks, meaning that I do not know how much it would usually cost. So, I just went strolling around the place to get the stuff I initially wanted and also checked the price of a normal bottle of Coke will cost. Found that 6 x 355ml can pack cost $3.99. So, I was like ' WOW'. Of course I decided to get that 18 can pack drink.

At the counter, with all the other groceries I bought, the total came up to about $53. I usually trust their system here, so I do not check the prices when they scanned the items. I do not do that back in Msia cause their system there is just terrible and just trying to steal money from us poor citizen. So, on the way back to my car, I was just looking at the receipt and I saw the drink I bought cost me $15.13 with $2.14 deducted which means $12.99. I paid $3 extra. Went back to the place and told them and was just trying to get the refund for the difference. So, I was just waiting for them to check the price, do their stuff on the computer and then they gave me back $13.
Then I was like, 'How much do I need to pay now?'
Sales person replied, 'Oh, no. It's free!'
My reaction was, 'Huh? Really?'
'Yes. It's the management's problem, so it's not your fault.'
'Oh, ok. Thanks.'

And so, that's how I got a free 18 x 355ml can pack of L&P!!! Woohoo!!! NZ is just so awesome. Imagine that in Msia. NEVER!!!!
*I know I said Coca Cola, but L&P, Sprite and Sprite Lite are among the range of drinks produced by the same company. I will never buy coke! Cause there's just sugar and acid and it taste horrible to me. L&P is one of the soft drinks that I would drink. Its taste is unique for and it has less carbonated water. Only found in NZ!! =)

Easter Break

Easter Camp
I was actually looking forward to attend this year's Easter camp but it started with a hit into my friend's car. His car had a small dent but mine was bad. So the week didn't turn up as good as it should be. I was so gloomy all day. Did not want to talk to anyone. Wanted to be alone and was thinking how could that happened. I was so excited on the way and I was singing in the car, but after the accident, I kept thinking about it. It was my first time. I know that there will always be a first time in anything. Overall, the camp was not too bad but my first Easter camp was the best!

Uni Games
Started our journey from the Rec Centre at 9am to New Plymouth. Had few stops in between and reach at about 12.45pm. Did our registration and then check-in into our accommodation. Went for a walk at the coast line, had dinner and then went to the opening ceremony. Let me ask you, What do you aspect when you hear the word opening ceremony?? Formal? Lots of talks? Food maybe? But none of those occurred this time. All they had was loud music and drinks!!! Are we at the club now?? Weird way of having an opening ceremony like that. That was the first day we were at New Plymouth
Second day was when we start competing. Our first opponent was Auckland University. We defeated them 5-1, and that was because I lost my singles. Well, that girl that was my opponent was actually being defeated by me before in Bersatu Games last year but I did not put in all my afford, so I was the only one who lost. Next opponent was from Auckland University of Technology and we lost but we gave our very best. It was because all their players were representatives for their region, which means they are trained players. (Ain't that unfair!!)
Last opponent was from Victoria University. Defeated them 4-2 and it was actually a very close match but luckily we still manage to win over them. And yes! That means that our team, The Massey got Silver for women badminton!

Mt. Egmont Tramp
After Uni Games ended on Friday, and also that is when Nai Chen, Pat, Chris and Zong Yu reached New Plymouth. We planned this trip to go up to Mt. Egmont and it was really a good one. I was actually all tired and worned out after three days of badminton but I still would want to go up the mountain. Sad enough, we did not manage to reach the summit, thanks to someone (you know who you are! but not blaming you for it since it was your first time and you did a great job, making us laugh =D). It was really steep and slippery. What an experience! At night, we camped outside the camphouse, looking at the sky full with stars and started to count the shooting stars. It was freezing cold outside, so after seeing one shooting star, I went to bed =)

Went to the beach the next day. ZY cut his foot, I ended up driving back with his car. Went to the hospital, waited 2 hours but none of the doctors or nurses came to see him, went back staight. (Long story cut short, a little lazy to blog now =) )

Field Trip

Last weekend was not a too bad week, besides the lack of sleep and the fact that I got stung by a wasp for the first time. Made quite a few new friends during the trip and enjoyed it overall. Well, these are the stuff I experienced and learned during the field trip.

1. Got stung by a wasp
2. Walked in mud.
3. Sampled animal's poo.
4. Digging soil and sampled invertebrates
5. Learned about different shell types.
6. Identifying bird by their calls.
7. Finally saw a real kiwi bird.
8. Manage to catch a cricket for my insect collection.
9. Bush bashing.

The field trip was really fun. Hoped that there will be more field trips like this for the rest of my papers.

Now, time for updates.

I've been upstage for two weeks now and I actually liked the feeling to be on stage but that's just because I am shadowing. Not too sure when I am going to need to start instructing next time.

Farm Trip.
The weekend before last week, OCF organized a farm trip to the Mudford family in Woodville, and I gained a lot of new experienced too.

1. Milked the cows (with milking machines of course. There's 400 cows to milk so it will take forever to milk with hands, and my hands were covered with poo)

2. Ride a horse ( use to ride the horse at the zoo where there will be someone pulling the horse around. Same this time but I get to go faster, more than just strolling and it was fun.)

3. Chase the cows!! ( got them to go back to the milking sheds and on the way, get to see them poo and pee while walking. Yuck!!)

4. Danced ( learn quite a few oldies dance or cowboy dance and it was tiring!! )

5. Built an electric fence ( I realized being a farmer is not an easy job! Building the fence itself took so much energy and that's just to make sure the fence was in a straight line ain't easy)

I've took lots of video for the dance but yet to upload it and will do that when I am 'free'. =D
Cheers!!

New Release

Yesterday was the greatest day I ever experienced. I was so nervous when the clock strikes 5.30pm and once it started, I was just looking at the floor and tried my best to get my moves right. First two songs were ok, but screwed the last one. I was 2 bits faster than I should so that's where I made my mistake. Well, it's all over now and I am really glad. From now on, I will be up stage shadowing the instructor until I am ready to start coaching.

Thanks to those who supported me!! Thank You!

Finally

It's been approximately three weeks since I got back to Palmy and I was really busy, well quite busy actually, besides the times that I have breaks where I slept all the time cause I was really tired. Since I've got some spare time today, I will blog about what really happened the last 3 weeks since I got back.

1st Week
First thing I did when I got back to Palmy was moving my boxes from my friend's place. Had a small gathering after that and before that I became a driver, fetching juniors from the halls and that's what I usually do. Had dinner at Fujiyama and I was so excited to be back and everyone notice that. After that, went to get some groceries and did some packing once I got home.
The next day, was the most exciting day ever. I went to Wellington with a few instructors from Massey at 7am. Reached there and I had my first class after 3 months, Body Attack. I could only hold on for about 20minutes and I had to take a break. That was how unfit I was after 3 months of only eating and sleeping. After that class, I just sat down and looked at the rest of the new release as I was saving energy for the last class, Body Combat. By the end of the class, I was all worn out. Went for free BK after that, a treat from Ron, our Massey Rec Centre assistant manager and went home after that.

Started class at 2pm on Monday, so I get to sleep in but I went to campus to get some errant done and after that went for Body Step as usual. Wednesday was Clubs Day, so I was out at the concourse the whole day and got sunburn form it. After that went to town cause I need to fetch Ian to get some stuff for Kiwi Culture Night(KCN) and my car battery went flat. Couldn't start my car and so I was late for my Body Attack class. I was told that the field trip was cancelled cause of bad weather forecast and I was so happy cause I get to attend KCN and also badminton on Saturday. Thursday, I went out to get some groceries and again I couldn't start my car and thanks to Eugene for helping me jump start twice in two days and I decided to get a new battery for my car. Friday, I had two labs and started at 8am and was so tired that day. Saturday, attended Body Combat class at 10am and then badminton at 2pm. There were a lot of new people who turned up for badminton and the committees were so busy setting up games and explaining how our club works. At night, attended the MUMSA first gathering of the year and just ate and talked to old and new members.

2nd Week
Nothing much happened this week but I had a field trip on the weekends. Learned a lot of new stuffs when I had no idea on the name of plants and trees of NZ. Went through the bush called as bush bashing and it was the greatest experience I ever had and it was real fun. Met quite a lot of new friends, Kiwi friends to be exact although I didn't talk much but it was fun hanging out with them. By the way, I was the only Asian that was in that group and on the second day, I kinda feel left out cause for the last project, we need to form our own group and choose something to sample on. Since I was the only without friends there, I did the project alone and it was so sad. I should have asked the rest if I could join their group but they had 4 to 5 members already. =(

3rd Week
Which means it's this week. I had a lot of practise going on for Body Combat cause today is the day!!! I am going up stage today for the new releases for all group fitness classes. Although I am only shadowing (staying at the back of the instructor and follow him), I am really nervous. Yesterday's practise, I did a lot of mistakes and I have like another 5 hours before I go up stage. I really hope I will do fine today. Pray for me to those who are reading.

And I shall listen to the music more and do more practise before it starts. Wish me luck!!
Cheers!

Last Day

Woke up at 4am this morning. Did all the final packing and found out I had 2 hours left so I watch High School Musical 3 which I bought last night. Bought 10 pirated dvds for only Rm45 and I think it is cheap. Aren't they?? The movie was quite boring and every time they start singing, I went to the toilet. Every time. Was because I had diarrhea!! At first I thought I was nervous or something cause I asked mom if she had diarrhea too but she said no. But on our way to KL, she got hers. So clearly it was because the food we ate last night.

Reached KL a while ago and had to head to the toilet again. Hopefully that was the last time. Dad reached KL too after we arrived shortly and now he is taking a nap. "Kai ma" who followed us down cause she wants to sent her beloved "kai lui' at the airport. I am going to miss so much! Now mom and my "kai ma" both are cleaning the house in Sentul, thanks to my brother who never does the house chores and that goes for me too but somehow I do help out sometimes, not all the time. *Looks at mom sweeping the floor and then continue blogging...Guilty-nya*

Anyway, lunch later will be at my brother's work place. An Italian restaurant it seems and he just got shifted there for his next placement. 20% discount for family members! Won't be eating much cause I lost my appetite for the past few days. Skipped breakfast, lunch and dinner and I was still not hungry. Just had 100 Plus and some fruits. Because of the lack of source for energy, I get dizziness when I walk around the house. *Bad for health but that's how I lost 0.5kg.

That's all from me in Malaysia. My next post will be in Palmerston North and most probably I will update it more often from now on, instead of once a month. Adios!!

Do you Skype??

I was wondering if I should get a Skype account. I heard that it is cheaper to call home and the connection is better too. So should I get one too?

Last 2 Days

Time to finalize my packing. All clothes folded. Everything needed bought. All money spent.

Things I haven do : Buy dvds, develop new pictures, wash clothes.

Things done : Eat and sleep

p.s. I lost 0.5 kg =D .. due to lack of appetite and lots of excitement

Last Weekend in Malaysia

I am spending my last weekend in KL before I go back to NZ. Been thinking a lot lately and it is definitely because I am too excited to go back. Sometimes I even wake up in the middle of a sleep and start to think of the things that I am going to do once I get back.

I should enjoy the last week here with my family. Won't be seeing them for another 11 months or so. Alright, it's time for gym! Going to go for a run and do some workout to gain my fitness before going back.

La La La~~~~

One more week to go!!! I want to fast forward time. Can't wait for Sunday, 22nd February 09 cause I will be going to Wellington! Was told that there will be workshop for new releases there and I was asked to join along. I won't be able to sleep all day and night cause will be leaving at 6.30am New Zealand time, which means 1.30am M'sian time. Definitely going to have jet lag, no time to unpack and get ready for class the next day and can't go for badminton but who cares, I finally could join the workshop. I am going to workout for this 1 week left in Msia, so that I would at least get a little of my fitness back before going for the workshop because I won't be able to follow up that day.
Lucky thing is my classes on Monday starts at 2pm! =D Lucky me. So excited!!!! Cya soon mates! Cheers!

10 days left!

The past 2 months and 20 days was dead bored, besides the days that I get to hang out with my friends and families, Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year, Hat Yai trip with relatives, Ipoh-Penang-KL trip with friends, helping out with painting my aunt's house, and of course, the best was collecting heaps of ang pows during CNY. Those were the days I get to get out of the house, and yes, the rest was just staying at home, sleeping, eating, watching movies online, facebook-ing ( I think I refresh my page every 5 minutes to see if there's any updates so that I can comment on them).

Ok. Lets talk about the fun part and leave the boring bit behind. As usualy, CNY was celebrated in KL ( luckily was in KL, away from all the traffic jam on the highway) on the eve and first day of CNY. Had reunion dinner at Eastin Hotel in PJ and then went back to my uncle's place to play 'Chor Dai Dee'. As I was the sole winner the past few years, this year just wasn't my luck. My youngest cousin brother took it away. Well, too bad. Guess I am getting too old already. =) First day was normal, went for lunch and headed back to Ipoh after that. At night, which was quite last minute planned, was asked to go for a drink which ended up in a club but it was indeed a fun night besides the part that my friend dropped her brand new phone into the toilet and her parents couldn't reach her and was worried (Btw, she was drunk =S ). hahaha
The best time of CNY for me is always the second day. That's where I get to meet all my relatives from my mother's side of the family and I usually meet them once a year. I like it when the house is packed full with people, when it is hard to move around (but never like malls to be packed) and also cause these relatives of mine are 'noisy' people, which make this festival so fun, with all the laughter around and last but not least, more people equals to more ANG POWS!!!
The crowd was moved to my house from my kai ma aka tai yee's house. This was the first time they actually gathered in my house and the main reason was because my mom said that she was going to cook bird's nest that night and everyone wanted some. Besides that, my dad finally opened up his long kept XO which was 50 years old, and part of them likes to drink. Well, since my house was the host, that brings me walking up and down the hall way and into the kitchen non stop, going out to get food as it was not planned, and then again to get some ice. Food wasn't enough to feed those hungry people, we ended up having KFC for dinner. And if you didn't know, about 40 people was there that time, from all range of ages, 70's to 1 year old babies. This was so happening, and I love the reunion and mom said that next year we should do that again, and my dad will find another XO which is 60 years old and also will be well prepared with the food. hahaha
Third day was not too bad as well, as my friends and I all went visiting each others house, collecting more ang pows, but it seems like they like to visit my mom more ( I guess cause she gives bigger ang pow than the rest? =) ). It was like a school reunion. 20 or more of them came to my house with one group busy gambling (gamblers) and another group busy chit chatting (gossipers) and in the end, all posers. 1, 2, 3... Cheers!

The next day, my family and relatives decided to have a shopping and eating trip in Hat Yai, Thailand. The shopping and eating was fun cause all of us just can't stop buying stuff as it is way more cheaper there, and eating my favourite tom yum (I insisted that I want to have tom yum every meal XD ) The bad part was at the border line, packed, stuffy, inconsiderate people jumping ques, unorganized system, taking bribes, etc. Waited almost 2 hours both going in and coming out. Terrible!! No more travelling during festive season.

p.s. I got new nike shoes!!!!

The next 10 days will be dreaded long but might go past real fast. I already started packing my stuff and that shows how eager am I to go back to Palmy. Last year, I was sad and didn't want to leave M'sia and I only packed a day or two before leaving. Guessed I found my passion to stay in NZ after 2 years.

Valentine's day is coming soon, and since I am still single, I decided to celebrate with myself! Ain't that fun? And so, I am going to buy myself a valentine present too but yet to decide what should I get. Happy Valentine's day my dear friends, especially you (you know who you are), have fun with your bf there!

Love you guys a lot and it seems like I won't be meeting you guys before I leave, so take care and all the best and see ya'll again next year!

New Year Resolution 2009

There goes another exciting year, year 2008! Met lots of new friends in uni last year and pretty good ones. Really glad to know you guys and that you guys were always there for me and will always be. Another challenging year this year. This is going to be my 3rd year at Massey and I am looking forward to be there.

Resolution 2009
1. Pass all my exams.
2. Be more hardworking.
3. Be fitter (in other words, lose weight =) ).
4. Make more friends.
5. Save money.
6. Get a job.
7. To be committed to my duty.
8. Not to hate people.
9. Be crazy.
10. Graduate by 2010!

That's pretty much it. This year's resolution is simple and some of you people might realize that something is missing this year, but that is not important for me anymore.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009! May all your resolutions come true this year and have a great year!! Cheers!
